In space no one can hear you scream.

SO

Welcome to the small project I struggled the most with. Like no, seriously, this had many other rough drafts.

I had to go and make an original poster for a movie that already existed.

When I was introduced to the project, I had a random interest in Ridley Scott’s Alien. So, I made a poster for Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

Yeah, so that’s a joke, obviously.

I edited this poster together using AI and such a tiresome amount of Photoshop.

I used A.I. because I had a particular vision, and when beginning this assignment, I realized my artistic skill still had a lot of growing to do. (I’m a copywriter at heart, after all)

I was working with the idea of playing on the movie’s tagline, “In space, no one can hear you scream.” I was hoping to create a poster where Ripley was looking up in fear, frozen in fright. From the top of the poster, we see a Xenomorph tail dangling with its end curling up as if holding the universal gesture for SSH up to Ripley’s face.

Here’s the current product until I return some day and give this idea more non-AI, non-Photoshop justice.
